Volunteers participate in the National Reforestation Day

During the IV edition of the National Reforestation Day, the volunteers of the Alberto Motta Foundation together with the volunteers of the companies GBM, TVN Media, Bahía Motors, Colegio de Panamá and the Trenco Foundation joined the initiative with the Arvita Foundation and Ponte en Algo to plant trees in the CEBG José E. Escala in Santa Rita, in La Chorrera.

The reforestation of 700 trees was carried out by 132 volunteers with 17 different species, including native and fruit trees such as avocado, national mahogany, lemon, balo, marañón curacao, guanábana and orange, among others, benefiting the more than 600 students and surrounding families to said Educational Center. The school’s land is located within an area with very little forest cover and close to the Panama Canal Basin.
